I have very fond memories of Tino when his cafe was next door to my shop. He was always smiling and laughing, it was a pleasure to chat to him. We had many interesting discussions. I specially remember him asking my advice when he was teaching himself to play the piano. He was a lovely man and he will be missed. I send my deepest condolences to Rina, Danny & Steve. Unfortunately I am unable to attend the funeral owing to a prior commitment that I can’t change. But my thoughts will be with you all.

Tino one of life’s finest gentlemen, l especially remember Tino one time when his son Danny scored his first try for Narooma rugby league team, Danny constantly was asking me to pass him the ball, l did a couple of times but Danny dropped the ball, when he did catch a pass he scored his first try…. Whilst we were in a huddle congratulating Danny, Tino came onto the field, jumped on my back and knocked me to the ground saying Bob you are a good man you helped Danny score a try, you come down and have all the pizza you can eat, you are a good man…. He named a pizza the Bob Bennett hot pizza….we got plenty of mileage out of this story over the years. Such a lovely man RIP Tino… My sincere condolences to Rina Danny and Steve .
