I first met Mick in the 1977-1978 cricket season when he was skipper of Moruya cricket team. He was a champion all-rounder, astute tactician who could read the game better than anyone, just a brilliant sportsman. I will hold my memories of playing with Mick, Dick, Simo, Jacko, Dopey and the crew close to my heart.
Michael was a mentor for many, he was a treasure-box of information about the world in general, an incredible thinker and always coming up with new ways to tackle different problems. My condolences to Colleen, family and friends.
